The Boyd County Board of Education will meet in a special meeting Thursday October 3,2024 at 8:45am at the District Office Conference Room located at 1104 Bob McCullough Drive Ashland, 41102. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss a "tolling agreement" and to approve a resolution with Kentucky Farmers Bank for the loan in lieu of tax receipts.

Review the adoption of resolution authorizing, pursuant to KRS 160.540, the Boyd County Board of Education to borrow a sum not to exceed $ 1,500,000.00 from Kentucky Farmers Bank and authorizing, pursuant to KRS 160,540, Boyd County Schools Superintendent, William Boblett, to execute on behalf of the Boyd County Board of Education all agreements and documents, including loan agreements, promissory notes, and pledges of anticipated revenues pursuant to KRS 160.540 as necessary to secure said loan.
