5.1. Superintendent Boblett and Assistant Superintendent Spade will recognize First Sergeant Dan Meek, Commander Bernard Potts and the Boyd County High School Navy JROTC for being designated as a Distinguishing Unit for the 2023-2024 school year by the United States Department of the Navy;
5.2. Superintendent Boblett and Assistant Superintendent Spade will recognize the following students who received Advance Kentucky Student Incentive Checks and/or AP Scholar designation for their Advanced Placement scores from May 2023 testing: Abbi Borders; Aden Hereford; Jenna Johnson; Jacob Layne; Brenton Long; Kathleen McKay; Mason Newsome; Macy Porter; Hope Smallwood; Reagan Vipperman; and Jared Zimmerman. The following Advance Kentucky teachers for these students will also be recognized: Carly Baldwin (AP Chemistry); Melissa Gibson (AP Statistics); and Linda Rich (AP Calculus AB);

9.1. Pursuant to KRS 157.655-157.660 and 750 KAR 2:010, review Superintendent's recommendation to accept an offer of assistance from the School Facilities Construction Commission (SFCC) FY 2024 Kentucky Education Technology System (KETS) in the amount of Thirty Thousand Three Hundred Twenty-Eight Dollars ($30,328.00); (See Attachments)
9.2. Review Superintendent's recommendation to approve a Memorandum of Agreement between Boyd County Public Schools and The Kentucky Community and Technical College System (Ashland Community and Technical College) to allow students enrolled in the Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education Program to be placed in the schools as a laboratory for educational experiences and effective from October 11, 2023 and continuing through June 30, 2024; (See Attachments)

9.8. Review Superintendent's recommendation to reclassify six hours per day of Employee 1868 to job class 7765, Administrative Secretary II, retroactive to July 1, 2023 to be funded through District Extended School Services (ESS); (See Attachment)
