9.1. Review recommendation of Scott Burchett, District Finance Director, to approve the Working Budget FY 2024 as presented; (See Attachments)
9.2. Review Superintendent's recommendation to approve the Memorandum of Agreement between The Kentucky Community and Technical College System/Ashland Community and Technical College and Kinder College for the purpose of college students enrolled in the Associate Degree Nursing and Practical Nursing Programs to complete a clinical or discipline-specific educational experience under supervision and making the facility available to students upon the conditions set forth in this Agreement commencing July 17, 2023 for an initial term of one (1) year and shall be automatically renewed upon like terms for additional one (1) year periods until terminated;
9.3. Review Superintendent’s recommendation to approve the BG-1 Project Application for Property Acquisition for Boyd County Central location and submit to KDE; (See Attachments)
9.4. Review Superintendent's recommendation to approve Memorandum of Agreement between Boyd County Board of Education and Eastern Kentucky University to provide professional laboratory experiences and student teacher experiences for the educational profession which shall commence on July 1, 2023 and is renewable at the end of each year unless written notice of termination is given; (See Attachment)
9.5. Review Superintendent's recommendation to approve five (5) COVID sick days for all contracted employees for the 2023-24 school year, retroactive to July 1, 2023. These days may only be used for a positive test result for the employee or their minor dependent child(ren). Employees must complete the COVID Positive Affidavit to request use of the days. Once these days have been eliminated, employees will be required to use their sick or personal leave or take deduct time; (See Attachment)
9.6. Review recommendation from Pete Fraley, Athletic Director and Safe Schools Coordinator, to use the drug screening services of A Plus Testing to conduct random drug testing of any students if needed; (See Attachments)
9.7. Review Superintendent's recommendation to increase the Non Administrative Salary Increment for Mentor Specialist from Five Hundred Dollars ($500) to Six Hundred Dollars ($600) due to hours required to complete oversight of persons assigned; (See Attachments)
9.8. Review request from Dara'Su Williams, Special Education Director, to approve a shortened school week for Student #1, Sixth Grader, at Boyd County Middle School, in accordance with appropriate documentation and per requirement of Kentucky Department of Education procedures; (See Attachments)
