The meeting was called to order by Larry Muse, Chairperson.  Also present were Gordon Germain, Board Counsel and Tim Eaton, KSBA Superintendent Search Consultant.

Mr. Tim Eaton shared the Overview of the Superintendent Search Process.  The Board agreed that they would accept applications for thirty (30) days with the position to be posted statewide May 8, 2023 through June 7, 2023. 

The timeline was set to host the first Screening Committee meeting on June 12, 2023 as a Special Called joint meeting with the Board of Education.  The screening committee will remain and begin the applicant screening process immediately following the Board Meeting.  

The Board set weekly Screening Committee meetings to occur on June 19, June 26, and July 3, 2023.  July 3, 2023 will be another joint meeting of the Board of Education and the Screening Committee where the Screening Committee will present their recommendations to the Board.
