NOTICE OF HEARING to receive comments on proposed tax rates (each speaker is limited to 3 minutes please) – the Spencer County Board of Education will hold a Public Hearing at the Spencer County Board of Education Meeting room at 110 Reasor Avenue on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 5:45 pm to hear public comments regarding the general fund tax levy options. The rates being considered range from a compensating rate of 57.7 to a maximum rate of 60.0 reflecting the 4% increase in revenue as allowed by House Bill 44. The exoneration rate proposed is .1 cent.
