NOTICE OF HEARING TO RECEIVE COMMENTS ON PROPOSED TAX RATES (EACH SPEAKER IS LIMITED TO 3 MINUTES PLEASE)
The Spencer County Board of Education will hold a Public Hearing at the Taylorsville Elementary School Media Center on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 6:30 pm to hear public comments regarding the general fund tax levy options. The rates being considered range from a compensating rate of 60.7 to a maximum rate of 63.1 reflecting the 4% increase as allowed by House Bill 44. The exoneration rate is .2 cents.
