The Spencer County Board of Education will hold a Public Hearing at the Spencer County High School Media Center on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. to hear public comments regarding the general fund tax levy options. The rates being considered range from a compensating rate of 61.1 to a maximum rate of 63.5 reflecting the 4% increase as allowed by House Bill 44.
