Reivew of the TELL Survey Results - Superintendent's Evaluation Items
Order #308.2013 - Motion Passed: passed with a motion by Mrs. Angela Combs and a second by Mr. William Shockney.
The Board reviewed the FY13 TELL Survey results. They had reviewed the TELL Survey results at two previous Board of Education meetings and in a joint meeting with our School Council on September 30, 2013. They reviewed all questions related to Facilities and Resources Q3.1 questions. They approved by motion that they strongly agreed with the survey results as it pertains to the Superintendent Palm's evaluation that showed he exceeded the state average 88% of the time on this section. Southgate Independent School exceeded the state averages in 93% of the questions in the survey and 30% of the questions the repsonse was 100% of the staff agreed. Also 100% of the certified staff participated in the FY13 TELL Survey.

Review of the FY 14 Working Budget - Superintendent's Evaluation
Order #309.2013 - Motion Passed: passed with a motion by Mrs. Angela Combs and a second by Mr. James Specht.
The Board of Education reviewed Superintendent Palm's work in the area of Resources/Support Systems and the FY 14 Working Budget. The Board had approved that Mr. Palm had met all District Targets in this area by his monthly budget updates, financial updates in his superintendent reports each month and his annual reviews of the Draft, Tentative and Working Budgets.
