The Russell County Board of Education will hold a tax hearing beginning at 5:30 PM on Thursday, August 30, 2018. The proposed tax rate is 52.2 for real estate and personal property (tangible) with the motor vehicle (52.2) and utility (3%). The proposed rates will keep the current rates unchanged.
