YSA MOU to Participate
Attached is a Memorandum of Understanding between Northern Kentucky University (NKU) and the Northern Kentucky Cooperative for Educational Services (NKCES) for the Young Scholars Academy (YSA).
Pendleton County Schools is a member of NKCES and is a participating district in the YSA program. This MOU would extend the current MOU for one additional year through July 31, 2025.
I would recommend the board approve the districts continued participation in the YSA program.

2023-24 Comprehensive District Improvement Plan
Please see the attached memo from our Executive Director of Teaching and Learning, Laura Pugh, regarding the Comprehensive District Improvement Plan. The CDIP is required to be completed and sent to the Kentucky Department of Education by January 1 of each school year.
I would recommend approval of the 2023-2024 CDIP as presented.

PC Paving-Bidding Documents and BG-3
Attached are documents provided by Robert Ehmet Hayes and Associates regarding the PC Paving Project at Southern Elementary and Pendleton County High School.
The board must approve and execute the attached BG-3, and bidding documents which will then be sent to the Kentucky Department of Education for approval.
I would recommend approval of the attached BG-3, and bidding documents for the PC Paving Project.

Attached are the proposed regularly scheduled meeting dates for 2024. Regular meeting dates would continue to be on the third Monday of the month unless this date fell on a holiday. We have attempted to identify any future conflicts that may exist and schedule accordingly.
