New Position of School Based Mental Health Guidance Counselor/Social Worker
Attached is memo from our Executive Director of Teaching and Learning, Mrs. Laura Pugh, regarding the creation of a new School Based Mental Health Guidance Counselor/Social Worker position.
The Northern Kentucky Cooperative for Educational Services has secured a grant that will provide $65,000 per year towards the salary of a School Based Mental Health Guidance Counselor/Social Worker position.
I am recommending the board approve the creation of this grant funded School Based Mental Health Guidance Counselor/Social Worker position with a 195-day contract and 1.11 index. If approval is granted the position will be posted and added to our current salary schedule.
