Facilities Update
Todd Sanders
Todd Sanders shared that the softball/baseball project at TNHS is about 40-50% complete. Our cost for the the changes will be around $16,000.00.
The TNHS agriculture room should be completed within a month. He commented that what remained was the installation of the handicap sink, paint touch ups, and electrical boxes to be installed on every desk.
Mr. Rapier stated that he had recently examined the lake at TNHS. He said that it was completely full.

School Facility Projects

TNHS Golf
Todd Sanders
Superintendent Orr explained to the board that the TNHS Golf Booster has requested to build a covered area over the driving range and a storage shed. They have or will raise the monies necessary for this cost. The cost for the storage unit is approximately $1,000 and $500 for the covered area. It was the boards recommendation to use the storage area under the football bleachers that is already in place. The board has asked that we be sensitive and very appreciative of the booster clubs enthusiasm and dedication.

TNHS Soccer
Todd Sanders
Superintendent Orr shared that the TNHS soccer booster club has requested that they be able to install cabinets, a counter, and electric to the soccer box/concession stand. They estimate the cost to be $1150. The board suggested that this matter be put on hold until a later date.

Motion Passed: Motion to adjourn the Regular Session of the Nelson County Board of Education was passed with a motion by Mr. Nicky Rapier and a second by Mrs. Diane Berry.
