Election of Chairperson
Each January the Nelson County Board of Education elects a new chairperson and vice chairperson for the calendar year. These offices traditionally rotate among the board members to avoid placing an undue burden on any one member. At this time, we would like to accept nominations for the chairperson.
Motion Passed: Diane Berry Chair passed with a motion by Mr. Damon Jackey and a second by Mrs. Diane Breeding.

At this time, we would like to accept nominations for the position of vice chairperson.
Motion Passed: Rebekah McGuire-Dye Vice Chair passed with a motion by Mr. Damon Jackey and a second by Mrs. Diane Breeding.

Snow Day Calendar Revision

The District calendar will be updated so that March 8th becomes a Staff Work Day instead of a flex PD Day.
