In conjunction with America Education Week BES hosted several speakers to share information about their careers and the education necessary to achieve them.
BES participated with the National Education Association by “Inviting Parents to School Day” on Tuesday, November 13th.  The goal is for parents to have a firsthand look at what the school day is like for their child.  It is designed to spotlight the importance of parental involvement in a child’s education.
The cast has been selected for The X-Mas files,  a Sci-Fi Holiday Musical to be presented by the 5th Graders on Tuesday, December 18th at 1:30 and 7:00.
Nathan Brooks received 2 Superiors at National Federation of Music Club piano competition recently; he is a student of Bettye McClure.
