Amber Minor
Rationale

Yvonne Oliver at MCIS is asking permission to apply for the Walmart Community Grant.

It is a community grant through Walmart to support schools and other local organizations.  This is from the website:  Through the Community Grant Program, our associates are proud to support the needs of their communities by providing grants to local organizations.

The amount will be $3500.

It will be used to purchase a Simple Solutions Workbook for our fifth graders to use in their math class.  We have used this resource before with and without the books for each student.  It is much more effective for both teachers and students if they have their own book.
