Order #86 - Motion Passed:  Approval of the Agenda, with the adjustment of moving the 6.3 Public Business to the beginning of the meeting, at the request of an attendee passed with a motion by Mrs. Amy Hayden and a second by Mrs. Melanie Hazlewood.

Immediately following the approval of the Agenda, with the adjustment made, the Board conducted the 6.3 Agenda item, Other Business brought by the Public.  The item discussed is detailed on that section of the minutes, Item 6.3.  After Item 6.3 was conducted, the Board moved to Item 3, Recognition and Information Agenda.

Order #88 - Motion Passed:  Approval of the Memorial Park Agreement passed with a motion by Mrs. Amy Hayden and a second by Mrs. Melanie Hazlewood.

Order #89 - Motion Passed:  Approval of the SFCC Special Offer of Assistance in the amount of $23,010,000.00 passed with a motion by Mrs. Kym King and a second by Mrs. Melanie Hazlewood.

Ehmet Hayes gave an update on the process of the facilities renovation.

Order #90 - Motion Passed:  Approval of the Construction Manager RFP passed with a motion by Mrs. Amy Hayden and a second by Mr. Wesley Dorger.

Order #91 - Motion Passed:  Approval of the Liability and Workers' Compensation Insurance Rates passed with a motion by Mr. Wesley Dorger and a second by Mrs. Kym King.

Order #92 - Motion Passed:  Approval of the 2022-2023 Salary Schedules passed with a motion by Mrs. Melanie Hazlewood and a second by Mrs. Amy Hayden.

Mr. Borchers explained that both classified and certified staff would be receiving a 2.5% plus the step increase, averaging about a 3.5% increase overall.  Currently, the district ranks 10th in the state for salary rates, and this increase should keep up comparable to that ranking.

Order #94 - Motion Passed:  Approval of the Language Acquisition Program passed with a motion by Mrs. Amy Hayden and a second by Mrs. Melanie Hazlewood.

Order #95 - Motion Passed:  Approval of the Amended 2021-2022 School Calendar passed with a motion by Mr. Wesley Dorger and a second by Mrs. Kym King.

Ms. Powell expressed her appreciation for a successful PTO May Festival and Ball Park Opening.
