Dr. Steffen presented data on the intervention programs.

Mr. Fancher presented information of the cybersecurity steps that the district takes to keep data safe.

Order #16 - Motion Passed:  Approval of the tax rate of 97.6 cents for real estate and 97.6 cents for personal property per $100 valuation and the 74.6 cent motor vehicle rate for 2021-2022 passed with a motion by Mr. Wesley Dorger and a second by Mrs. Melanie Hazlewood.

There was no additional discussion than what took place in the public hearing, held at 6:00 PM, before the board meeting.

Order #17 - Motion Passed:  Approval of the Quarantine Leave Resolution passed with a motion by Mrs. Kym King and a second by Mrs. Melanie Hazlewood.

Order #18 - Motion Passed:  Approval of the Houchens Insurance Dental Plan passed with a motion by Mrs. Melanie Hazlewood and a second by Mrs. Kym King.

Order #19 - Motion Passed:  Approval of the Emergency Certification for Emily McDaniel passed with a motion by Mrs. Kym King and a second by Mrs. Melanie Hazlewood.

Mr. Borchers gave an update on the start of the school year in relation to COVID guidelines and protocols.  Masks, vaccines, and quarantine protocols were discussed.  It was discussed to offer another vaccination clinic for anyone still interested.

Ms. Powell commended AD Dan Sullivan for his work with the concession stands at sporting events.

Mr. Borchers commended the staff for doing a great job kicking off the school year.

Butch Young, a parent, expressed his displeasure of the mask requirement for students and staff.
