Mr. Borchers reviewed the monthly reports.  Ms. Powell asked about outstanding checks and activity accounts.

• Minutes from April Meeting

Ms. King asked if we were tracking our expenses specially related to COVID-19.  Mr. Borchers explained how the district was tracking these specific expenses.

Order #78 - Motion Passed:  Approval of the Liability and Worker's Compensation Insurance Rates passed with a motion by Mrs. Amy Hayden and a second by Ms. Cindy Powell.

Order #79 - Motion Passed:  Approval of the MEBS Contract for 2020-2021 passed with a motion by Mrs. Kym King and a second by Mr. Wesley Dorger.

Order #80 - Motion Passed:  Approval of the Consulting Contracts for 2020-2021 passed with a motion by Mrs. Amy Hayden and a second by Ms. Cindy Powell.

Order #81 - Motion Passed:  Approval of the PRN Contrat for 2020-2021 passed with a motion by Mrs. Kym King and a second by Mr. Wesley Dorger.

Order #82 - Motion Passed:  Approval of the 2020-2021 Salary Schedule with a 1% Increase passed with a motion by Mrs. Amy Hayden and a second by Mrs. Kym King.

Ms. King would like the district to extend the steps on the salary schedule to include Years 28, 29, and 30, rather than simply "27+ Years".  Mr. Borchers said he would have that adjusted for presentation at next month's board meeting.

Order #83 - Motion Passed:  Approval of the 2020-2021 Tentative Budget passed with a motion by Mrs. Kym King and a second by Ms. Cindy Powell.

Mr. Borchers discussed the parameters around spending CARES Funds.  Most will be used on providing devices to students. Ms. Powell asked if the district would have to hire more custodians to meet the COVID-19 cleaning requirements.

Order #84 - Motion Passed:  Approval of the Capital Funds Request passed with a motion by Mr. Wesley Dorger and a second by Mrs. Amy Hayden.

Order #85 - Motion Passed:  Approval of the 2019-2020 Amended School Calendar passed with a motion by Ms. Cindy Powell and a second by Mrs. Kym King.

Mr. Borchers reviewed the Guidance Documents provided to school districts concerning the reopening of schools in the fall.  He will update the board at the June meeting as guidance evolves.

Order #86 - Motion Passed:  Approval of the 2020-2021 NTI Application passed with a motion by Mrs. Kym King and a second by Mrs. Amy Hayden.

Ms. Powell asked about celebrating the cafeteria staff for their extra time and duties with NTI meals.
