Order #668 - Motion Passed:  A motion to ratify the approval of the KADF Application to Administer: 2020 Shared-Use Equipment Program passed with a motion by Mrs. Terry Watson and a second by Mr. David Kitchens.

The KADF application for funds is a joint effort with the American Farmers Grow Rural Education grant that has previously been accepted by the board and awarded.  This venture will provide funding to purchase a lime spreader and a no-till-drill.  The FFA will provide maintenance and upkeep as part of their hands-on educational experience while also renting the items for fundraising purposes.  This has been identified as a need for local farmers and should prove to be a wonderful community partnership.

We have received notice from the KDE that our application for medicaid billing has been approved.  This will allow us to increase our reimbursements for qualified medicaid services that are provided by our district

This grant has been previously approved by the school board.  We have now received official notice that the grant extension has been approved by KDE.
