"The local school district shall provide notice to school councils of a tentative allocation by March 1...."  

The tentative allocations have been provided to the schools as determined by procedures that have been approved by the Board and KDE.  This is a procedural item and no further action is required.

The SBDM Section 6 tentative allocations are as follows:

Based on the projected enrollments for next year, the projected SBDM Section 6 Allocations will be 3.5% Base SEEK ($140) x projected enrollment. This is above the required $100 per student allocation.

"Pursuant to KRS 157.622, the School Facilities Construction Commission (SFCC) is hereby making an official Offer of Assistance to the Livingston County Schools Board of Education.  Acceptance of this Offer of Assistance commits the school district to adhere to the statutes and regulations governing this program.  This Offer of Assistance is in the annual debt service amount of $9,309 to be used towards proposed construction or major renovation of facilities outlined in your most current approved facility plan."

The Livingston County Education Foundation chose to broaden its reach to become a community foundation.  This local foundation is now a part of the greater Community Foundation of Western Kentucky (CFWK).  The CFWK is offering strategy management support services (including grant writing).  The proposed contract provides the terms of agreement for these services.  This will broaden the reach of grant writing services to the entire community; not just our district.
