3. ACTION ITEMS
3.a. Stanford PTO Fundraisers
Rationale

The Stanford PTO has two fundraisers that they would like to start before the October 16 regular board meeting.

Actions Taken

Order #87 - Motion Passed:  Approve the Stanford PTO to Host a Fall Festival and Sell Cherrydale Catalog Items passed with a motion by Ms. Jennifer Broadbent and a second by Mr. Phillip Coots.

3.b. Change Orders for the LCHS Renovation
Rationale

When Clotfelter-Samokar did the last change order there were items that included Direct Purchase Order materials in some of the changes. They inadvertently made the change of the entire dollar amount (material and labor) to Branscum’s contract when they should have done a change to their contract for the labor and a separate change to the appropriate DPO for the materials. This is a correction of the paperwork, not a new change in cost to anything the Board has previously approved.

Actions Taken

Order #88 - Motion Passed:  Approve the Revised Change Orders and Supplemental Information Forms for the Lincoln County High School Renovations passed with a motion by Mr. Tyler McGuffey and a second by Ms. Jennifer Broadbent.

3.c. Amended BG #25-271
Rationale

The District requests approval of the revised BG #25-271 which includes Bid Packages 1 and 2 and all of the Direct Purchase Orders.  The most recently approved BG did not include Bid Package 1's direct purchase orders.

Actions Taken

Order #89 - Motion Passed:  Approve the Amended BG #25-271 passed with a motion by Mr. Phillip Coots and a second by Ms. Gloria Sneed.

4. DISCUSSION ITEMS
4.a. Coaching Staff for LCMS and LCHS Archery
Rationale

The middle and high school archery programs are requesting approval to add two (2) booster-funded assistant coaching positions.  One coach will work with middle school archery students and the other high school archery students.  The stipend for an archery coach is $500 per season/per coach and is paid with Booster funds.

4.b. Coaching Staff for LCHS Baseball
Rationale

The Lincoln County High School Baseball Team currently has twenty-five players.  The LCHS Baseball Booster Club is requesting approval to hire a booster funded hitting coach and an assistant coach.  This will allow for smaller group workouts and individualized coaching. The hitting coach will be paid $1,000 per season and the assistant coach will be paid $500 per season.

4.c. Mower Bids
Rationale

Bids opened on September 29th for two (2) mowers declared as surplus at the July meeting.  Highest bid for the John Deer Eztrak zero turn 48" lawnmower was $400.00 from Andrew Burge.  Highest bid for the Woods 306 72" finish mower was $300.00 from Mark Saylor.
