Surplus Items at Kings Mt. Elementary
Board member Ms. Gloria Sneed is requesting approval to surplus the bookshelves and benches at Kings Mt. Elementary and donate them to the Broughtentown Community Center

Food Service Items for Surplus
The Food Service department requests approval to declare the following times as surplus and take them to the recycling center: ice machine, 2 food cutters, 2 holding cabinets, tilt skillet, and combi oven parts.

External Booster Club for Archery
Coach Jeremy Pope requests permission to form an external booster club for the middle and high school archery program.

Amended 2023-24 School Calendar
On January 23, 2024 the District had a snow day. Therefore the current calendar must be amended to make up this day and requires Board approval.

2025-2026 School Calendar
The Calendar Committee met to discuss options for the 2025-26 school year. After a lengthy discussion, a calendar was recommended for adoption

2024-2025 Student Handbook
Online registration begins in the next few weeks. The student handbook needs to be approved for the 2024-2025 school year so it is available as part of the registration process.

2024 LCHS Graduation Date
Lincoln County High School is requesting Board approval to waive the section in Board policy 08.113 which states 'graduation exercises shall be held on the evening following the final day of classes for seniors' and set the 2024 graduation date for Friday, May 17th at 7 p.m. in the J.C. Eddleman Gymnasium.

Pay Application # 3 LCHS Corridor Project
Jarboe Construction submitted a pay application in the amount of $77,029.80 the work done on the Lincoln County High School Corridor project through January 31, 2024

Pay Application #4 for the LCHS Corridor Project
Jarboe Construction submitted Pay Application #4 in the amount of $65,967.36 for work done through February 22, 2024 on the Lincoln County School Corridor project.

BG-1 for Kings Mountain Elementary
The BG-1 is the first step in the Kings Mountain Elementary demolition project

Board approval is required for any changes to graduation diploma types and graduation honors.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher Position
Upon a recent review of students records, the Exceptional Child department has identified several students with hearing impairments that require a full-time Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher on staff. These students are in immediate need of services and for that reason the Exceptional Child department also requests this teaching position be posted and hired as soon as possible for the 2023-2024 school year.
