2.f. Athletic Upgrades
Rationale

Dear Stakeholders,

I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank each one of you for your time and continued dedication to Lincoln County as well as its students. Over my four years at Lincoln, I have been able to create many lasting relationships that I am certain will remain for a lifetime.  I am grateful for that opportunity. It is my mission as the head coach to build up young men during their tenure in this football program who are prepared to contribute to their communities to the fullest, during and well after football is over, and to be proud to represent Lincoln on their chests.  With this sentiment in mind, I am asking on the behalf of the Lincoln County Football program that the efforts of these young men not go unnoticed by the community which they love and take pride in.

Death Valley has become a very special place to me, and I know many others before me, but I feel that it is the time to make facility upgrades to keep this program moving in the right direction. Two major changes that I feel are necessary are that of the practice field and the expansion of the weight room in the field house. I have attached a detailed plan for both updates in this email. I am certain the community will get behind us in ensuring these facility changes happens, but it would mean so much to see a commitment from our own board members/school officials in this regard, as I feel this would demonstrate to the young men dedicating their time to this program that the school is also dedicated to making Lincoln an elite program.

We at Lincoln have exceptional student athletes who deserve the best. I ask that the young men of Lincoln football always give their best efforts and I feel providing top notch facilities to match their hard work should be prioritized to keep the program elite. The upgrading of facilities will send a positive message to parents and students alike that Lincoln County is the top-tier, committed/supportive of student athletes, and progressive, always striving to be the best in our area and ultimately the state. I also believe facility updates will negate any contemplating thoughts of parents/student athletes moving to surrounding communities because they will see that Lincoln has all that is needed to be successful. It is my sincere request that you read over the proposal for facility upgrades and let me know if you have any questions.
