Rationale

The district is in need of a position that:
• Serves as the district spokesperson
• Coordinate with district administration regarding communication efforts. 
• Develop and conduct trainings for employees and stakeholders in accurate, positive communication tools. 
• Develop and sustain a proactive approach to communication that includes a consistent, positive, and accurate portrayal of the district. 
• Respond in emergency and crisis situations, serving as the District representative to the public and media. 

 

The position will be a classified position.

6.l. Create a District School Technology Coordinator Assistant Position Funded by Technology and Title 4 Funds
Rationale

Assistant is needed to work on Chromebooks at LCHS and LCMS 

6.m. Approve Phase II Salary Increase
Rationale

All employees (certified and classified) will receive a 2% salary increase for the 2019-2020 school year.

District and school administrators will receive a salary increase to make their pay more competitive to surrounding districts.

6.n. Approve the 2019-2020 REVISED Staffing Policy for Section 7 to correct number of days
6.o. Approval of the Head Start-Early Head Start Budget that Includes Justification for the FY19 COLA Funds
Rationale

 Offset additional fringe cost  for all staff and to purchase additional classroom materials

6.p. Approve the Renewal of Early Childhood Contracts and Subscriptions for Physicians, Dentists, Optometrists, Mental Health Services, and Child Development - Special Education Services for the 2019-2020 School Year
6.q. Approve the Renewal of Annual Staff Contracts for a Training and Technical Assistance Consultant and an ERSEA Consultant
