V.A.2. Commendation from the KDE State Auditors about the Summer Feeding Program "Letcher County schools are in an impoverished area that has greatly benefited from the SFSP. The administrators, Nancy Banks and Brandi Brown, are organized, understand the intricacies of the program, and know what documentation is imperative for a seamless distribution of the meals to the neediest children in this area. They are committed to the program, and that commitment is demonstrated in their effective and efficient implementation of the program. The site has a great system in place that creates a seamless experience for meal pickup and the ladies work very well together to get the job done."
