Adopt Meeting Dates for 2025-2026
Motion Passed: Approval to accept SBDM meeting dates for 2025-2026 school year passed with a motion by Erica Miller and a second by Whitli Pridemore and the consensus of the council.

Review of R-MIS SBDM By-Laws
Motion Passed: After review of the SBDM by-laws, recommendations were made to make amendments to Article 4 and Article 7. (see notes) Approval to accept the amendments passed with a motion by Whitli Pridemore and a second by Paige Ladd and the consensus of the council.

Review of Title One Parent Involvement Policy 13.08
Motion Passed: After review of the Title I Parent Involvement Policy 13.08, a recommendation was made to amend the current policy. (see notes) Approval to accept the amendment passed with a motion by Tiffany Wire and a second by Whitli Pridemore and the consensus of the council.

Enter into Closed Session per KRS 61.810(1)(f) to discuss applications for the open position of Elementary Teacher
Motion Passed: Guest, Luke McAllister, exited from council meeting prior to entering closed session. Approval to enter Closed Session per KRS 61.810(1)(f) at 9:55am to discuss applications for the open position of Elementary Teacher passed with a motion by Whitli Pridemore and a second by Erica Miller and the consensus of the council.
Motion Passed: After consultation, a recommendation was made by Mr. Cornwell to hire Christine Gindelsperger for the open Elementary Teacher position. Approval to end Closed Session per KRS 61.810(1)(f) at 10:10am passed with a motion by Paige Ladd and a second by Tiffany Wire and the consensus of the council.
