Attendance
115 students eligible for zoo trip. Build a Bobcat. 1 or 2 classes a week are earning their reward.

Substitute Teacher interview
Motion Passed: A motion to enter into closed session to interview for a substitute teacher passed with a motion by Megan White and a second by Wanda Noble and the consensus of the council.

Budget/Finance
6.1.
SBDM Funds
There is approximately $11,000 remaining.
6.2.
District Activity Funds
District funds has approximately $16,000. The library fund has $6,000 of that amount. Library is using funds for an AR trip.

Title I Funds
The council discussed Title I students.
7.
Curriculum/Academics
7.1.
Acadience Testing May 12-May16
The council discussed the schedule for Acadience testing and the use of tutors to help make the process smoother.
7.2.
Awards Days May 19-21
Awards days will be two classes at a time. A schedule has been made to complete kindergarten on the 19th, first grade on the 20th and second grade on the 21st. Guests will go through the raptor system and receive a name tag upon entering school.
7.3.
Preschool Graduation May 23
There will be two preschool graduations to ensure there will be room for anyone wishing to attend.
7.4.
Preschool- Creative Curriculum
Preschool will be getting updated curriculum for the upcoming school year. Creative Curriculum.
7.5.
Numeracy Counts Professional Learning
Three teachers, Megan White, Wanda Noble and Lakyn Nickell will participate in the first cohort for Numeracy counts. Mr. Fugate will also participate as an adminstrator.
7.6.
Kinder-camp July 28-August 1
Plans are underway for kinder-camp. This event will take place from July 28 through August 1st.

The by-laws were reviewed by the council.

9.1.
Review and monitor plan
The council reviewed the CSIP.

Other Business
The council discussed Handwriting without Tears and how to work that into next years schedule. Would like to explore a reading/writing block.
