4.1.
SBDM Funds
There is approximately $13,000 remaining in the SBDM budget at this time. Copier rental continues to come out of the funds monthly.

District Activity Funds
There is approximately $10,000 currently in the school district activity funds.

Title I Funds
Sabrina McElroy will attend the November meeting to go over our budget.

New Business
5.1.
School Profile for School Report Card (Review and Sign)
Mr. Fugate presented the school report card for the council to review and approve. Members signed the document.
5.2.
Host October Board Meeting (October 22)
BES will host the October monthly meeting in the auditorium. SBDM members are invited to attend and discuss the school with the board.
6.
Curriculum/Academics
6.1.
Grade Level Exit Criteria
Mr. Fugate presented an example of grade level exit criteria for K-2. The council would like to have an exit criteria, but will look at more examples. Members emphasized making our criteria fit our needs.
6.2.
After School Tutoring
After school tutoring has started on Mondays and Wednesdays. The first few weeks there were approximately 15 students staying each day. The numbers are up to 30 students now.

Policy/Policy Review

Pick-up and Drop Off Policy (2nd Reading)
Motion Passed: Approval of the drop-off/pick-up policy passed with a motion by Guy Coomer and a second by Wanda Noble and the consensus of the council.

Instructional Policy Review
The council reviewed the instructional policy and did not choose to make any changes at this time.

CSIP
8.1.
Phase 2 (Needs Assessment and School Assurances)
Phase 2 of the CSIP was discussed. The needs assessments data is being collected. This report is due on November 1.
