CSIP (30/60/90 Day) Review
The CSIP was reviewed. The council discussed a need for more individualized instruction for students who are not mastering standards. It was decided the MTSS team should develop a plan to help struggling students recieve extra instruction.
8.
Academic Report
The MAP scores were discussed. 3rd grade continues to be a very low achieving group. Overall, the 3rd-6th grade stayed about the same as the fall scores. A positive was a noticable improvement in scores for grades K-2.
The grading period will end the second week of March and an open house will be scheduled to give parents a chance to discuss student progress.
9.
Informational items
Mr. Fugate discussed a program called OTUS that he will be discussing with the K-2 teachers at MRC and SES. It is a standards based grading program that integrates all programs teachers are using and lets them see data all in one place. If teachers have positive feedback, he will look in to purchasing the program next school year.
