Motion Passed: All members present and the meeting called to order passed with a motion by Amy Hounshell and a second by Jamie Smith and the consensus of the council.

Review of Mission and Vision Statement

Vision- Our vision is that every student will gain necessary knowledge and skills to succeed at their highest potential.

Beliefs- We believe all students can become lifelong learners, thinkers, and productive contributors to our society. It is our responsibility to ensure all students have the opportunity to learn at a high level in a safe and secure learning environment.

Approval of Agenda
Motion Passed: Approval of the agenda passed with a motion by Mary Kay Caudill and a second by Megan White and the consensus of the council.

Financial Report
The budget was looked at, but no actions were taken. The council is looking toward the merge to see what may be needed.

Policy Review
The council did not review policy at this meeting, as the needs may be different at the new school than they are now with different aged students.

CSIP (30/60/90 Day) Approval
After a short discussion and review, the council approved the 2023 CSIP plan.

Academic Report
Report cards will go out at the end of the week. The district decided to end the second nine weeks in conjunction with Christmas break to make the transition smoother with the merge.
The second round of MAP testing will be January 30th.

11.1.
Upcoming Merge
The council discussed the upcoming merge and transition items. An update was given about teachers packing their rooms to prepare for the move.
11.1.1.
Transition activities
3rd-6th grade students from MRC visited SES for transitin activities that included Kagan team builing structures and fun games.
11.1.2.
Teacher needs for transition
Mr. Fugate and Mr. Hall have also visited the classrooms of students and teachers that will be in their buildings after the merge. Teachers are continuing to box up materials and will use Friday, December 16th to get more of that work done. 3rd-6th grade teachers are also scheduled to go to SES on the 16th for a safety meeting.
