2. Review of Mission and Vision Statement
2.1. Mission- Making children Ready for a Changing World
2.2. Vision- Our vision is that every student will gain necessary knowledge and skills to succeed at their highest potential.
2.3. Beliefs- We believe all students can become lifelong learners, thinkers, and productive contributors to our society. It is our responsibility to ensure all students have the opportunity to learn at a high level in a safe and secure learning environment.

5. Financial Report
Discussion

The council discussed the current SBDM budget.  At this time, there are no major needs to use funds for.  At this time, the budget has          $20,212.20 remaining.

6. Policy Review
Discussion

The council discussed the school committee policy and will work with the leadership team to make sure all needs are met through committees.

7. CSIP (30/60/90 Day) Review
Discussion

The council discussed the CSIP and discussed how professional development opportunities have been implemented into the classroom to help meet the goals established.  Mr. Fugate discussed the variety of KAGAN structures and cooperative learning he has seen taking place.  He said that overall, the student engagement is increasing, but there are a few areas the teachers are more reluctant and will need some extra support to become more comfortable using them.  He said the leadership team is working to create a process for teachers to be able to model for and share ideas to help.

8.1. Fall MAP Testing
Discussion

MAP results were presented to the council.  Overall, although we have novice numbers in the 20%s, we are still starting off at a better place than last school year when the novice was in the 30%s.  

Through observations, students are much more involed with their learning and are becoming self aware through using goal setting sheets.

The state audit is happening this week.


KSA scores will be made availabe to the public mid- October


PBIS rewards app is live.  So far, positve feedback from students and staff.
