Motion Passed:  The meeting was called to order by Mr. Phillip Watts at 4:30 passed with a motion by Melissa Smith and a second by Jennifer Herald.

Motion Passed:  Approval to adopt agenda A motion was made to adopt the agenda by Melissa Smith and seconded by Cindy Salyers with all members voting “yes”. passed with a motion by Melissa Smith and a second by Cindy Salyers and the consensus of the council.

Motion Passed:  A motion was made by Jeremy Hall and seconded by Karen McIntosh with all members voting “yes” to adjourn to executive session in compliance with KRS 61.810 to interview applicants for the vacant principal position passed with a motion by Jeremy Hall and a second by Karen McIntosh and the consensus of the council.

Motion Passed:  A motion to return to open session was made by Karen McIntosh and seconded by Jeremy Hall with all members voting “yes”. passed with a motion by Karen McIntosh and a second by Jeremy Hall.

Motion Passed:  Action resulting from closed session: A motion was made by Cindy Salyers and seconded by Jennifer Herald to hire Darwin Noble as principal at Highland-Turner Elementary with all members voting “yes”. passed with a motion by Cindy Salyers and a second by Jennifer Herald and the consensus of the council.

Motion Passed:  After all items were discussed, a motion was made by Jennifer Herald and seconded by Jeremy Hall to adjourn the meeting at 7:20p.m, with all members voting “yes”, approval to adjourn the meeting passed with a motion by Jennifer Herald and a second by Jeremy Hall.
