3. Professional Services Contract-Physical Therapy - Savannah Boone
Rationale

The special education department provides physical therapy to students with gross motor deficits. We currently contract with Accelerated Pediatric Therapy and would like to continue to do so. 

4. Professional Services Contract-Orientation and Mobility Therapy - Savannah Boone
Rationale

The special education department provides Orientation and Mobility therapy to students who are visually impaired. We currently contract with On Track Orientation and Mobility and would like to continue to do so.

5. Professional Services Contract-Occupational Therapy - Savannah Boone
Rationale

The special education department provides Occupational Therapy to students with fine motor/sensory deficits. We currently contract with Affinity Therapeutic Solutions and would like to continue doing so. 

6. 2025-2026 Nelson Co. ATC Memorandum of Understanding - Amanda Reed
Rationale

This is our annual agreement with Nelson County Schools for our partnership to allow students to attend the Nelson County Area Technology Center.

7. Edmentum Software Contract - Jessica Castenir
Rationale

Approve a three-year contract for online learning platform with Edmentum.  By signing a three-year contract, the District will have access to 100 hundred licenses and unlimited access to professional development.  The three-year contract will save about $600/month.

The following funds will pay for the software: KECSAC 50%, ESS/General Funds 50%. 

8. Donation - ALES, HES, LCHS - Jessica Castenir
Rationale

According to Board Policy, Gifts and Donations 04.61, donations valued at more than $1,000 must be approved by the Board.

Two donations:

Tom Fulkerson, a 1976 LaRue County Graduate, donated $2000 to LCHS Speech for Nationals

Livin' Well LaRue donated $2000 to ALES and HES FRYSC for summer camps. 

9. FY2026 Classified Hourly Schedule - Jessica Castenir
Rationale

Update the FY2026 Salary Schedule to include Food Service Manager (High School) to go from $3.00 to $3.50 add on to the Food Service Hourly rates.  See attached.

10. FY2026 Tentative Budget - Jessica Castenir
Rationale

Attached is the FY2026 Tentative Budget MUNIS report, the Tentative Budget Summary, and Forecasted SEEK funding report.

Rationale

  • Update on CHAMP Project - Laith Ross of RossTarrant Architects gave an update on the CHAMP Project.  He noted a few final items to be completed and a tentative timeline for a project closing date.
  • District Facility Plan - A recommendation was made to discuss this item at a at a future date.
  • Facilities Update Plan - A recommendation was made to discuss this item at a at a future date.
  • June Working Session Date - A recommendation was made to revise the date for the June Working Session to Tuesday, June 12, 2025.
