The Chair of the JCPS Superintendent Screening Committee is calling a special meeting of the JCPS Superintendent Screening Committee to be held on Monday, May 19, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at the JCPS Center for Professional Learning, 3903 Atkinson Square Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40218.

The purpose of this meeting is for Committee members to convene in Executive Session with the Jefferson County Board of Education to discuss and interview aspirants in the superintendent search and have discussions that may lead to the appointment of an individual employee pursuant to KRS 61.810 (1)(f).

This meeting will be conducted as a joint session of the Jefferson County Board of Education and the Superintendent Screening Committee. During the meeting, the Board and the Committee may convene jointly and separately for discussion, consistent with the provisions of KRS 61.810(1)(f).

The agenda is as follows:

1. Call to Order
2. Approval of Minutes
3. Enter Executive Session per KRS 61.810(1)(f) to Interview Finalists in the Superintendent Search
4. Adjourn from Executive Session
5. Possible Consideration of a Motion
6. Adjournment

Any and all matters incidental to and supplementary to the foregoing may also be taken up, considered, and acted upon at the meeting.

Portions of this meeting will be closed to the public pursuant to KRS 61.810 (1)(f) of the KY Open Meetings Act.

This meeting will be conducted in person. The primary location for this meeting and where all members can be seen and heard by the public, will be the JCPS Center for Professional Learning, 3903 Atkinson Square Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40218.
