The Chair of the Superintendent Screening Committee is calling a special meeting of the Superintendent Screening Committee to be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at VanHoose Education Center, 3332 Newburg Road, Louisville, Kentucky.

The purpose of this meeting is for Committee members to convene in Executive Session with the Board of Education of Jefferson County to discuss and review aspirants in the superintendent search and have discussions that may lead to the appointment of an individual employee pursuant to KRS 61.810(1)(f).

This meeting will be conducted as a joint session of the Superintendent Screening Committee and the Jefferson County Board of Education. During the meeting, the Committee and the Board may convene jointly and separately for discussion, consistent with the provisions of KRS 61.810(1)(f).

Any and all matters incidental to and supplementary to the foregoing may also be taken up, considered, and acted upon at the meeting.

Portions of this meeting will be closed to the public pursuant to KRS 61.810(1)(f) of the Kentucky Open Meetings Act.

This meeting will be conducted in person. The primary location for this meeting and where all members can be seen and heard by the public, will be the Stewart Auditorium within the VanHoose Education Center located at 3332 Newburg Road, Louisville, KY 40218.
