Special Meeting
The Chair of the Board of Education is calling a special meeting of the Board of Education to be held on Monday, December 23, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. at the VanHoose Education Center, 3332 Newburg Road, Louisville, Kentucky.
The purpose of this meeting is for Board members to have discussions regarding pending litigation pursuant to KRS 61.810(1)(c).
The agenda is as follows:

Any and all matters incidental to and supplementary to the foregoing may also be taken up, considered, and acted upon at the meeting.
Portions of this meeting will be closed to the public pursuant to KRS 61.810 (1)(c) of the Kentucky Open Meetings Act.
This meeting will be conducted via video teleconference pursuant to KRS 61.823 and KRS 61.826. The primary location for this meeting and where all members can be seen and heard by the public will be Stewart Auditorium, VanHoose Education Center. Members are permitted to attend in person or via video teleconference pursuant to KRS 61.826. Members of the public may attend in person.
Order #2024-160 - Motion Passed: A motion to enter closed session to have discussions regarding pending litigation pursuant to KRS 61.810(1)(c) passed with a motion by Mr. James Craig and a second by Ms. Sarah McIntosh.
Order #2024-161 - Motion Passed: A motion to adjourn closed session and return to open session passed with a motion by Mrs. Linda Duncan and a second by Mr. James Craig.
Order #2024-162 - Motion Passed: A motion to authorize Board counsel to take action regarding the matter identified in closed session and pursuant to the timeline discussed in closed session passed with a motion by Ms. Tricia Lister and a second by Ms. Gail Logan Strange.
Order #2024-163 - Motion Passed: A motion to adjourn the December 23, 2024, special meeting passed with a motion by Mrs. Linda Duncan and a second by Ms. Gail Logan Strange.
