VIII. No One Fights Alone - Katie Abner
Discussion

Katie Abner spoke about the local organization, No One Fights Alone in Ohio County.  This organization came about after the Ohio County Relay for Life ended, and they help local individuals who are battling cancer to help ease the burden of the financial strain.

IX. Committee Reports

The road committee met and opened the one bid received for the Pot Hole patcher, no action is being taken at this meeting, it will be on November's agenda.


Michael McKenney reminded everyone that the Housing Committee would welcome anyone who is interested in helping to join.

The Hartford Octoberfest was a success and well attended, and he urged everyone to participate and support all the local events.

Helen Dever announced a Thanksgiving Dinner November 22nd at the Dundee Community Center.  She thanked Dale Beavin and Republic Services for providing dumpsters for her event.  Spoke about the EMS Christmas dinner.
