XII. Ohio County Detention Medical Contract Update

Motion Passed:  to approve the 2025-2026 CPI increase for provider services at the Ohio County Detention Center "see attached" passed with a motion by Michael McKenney and a second by Bo Bennett.

XIII. Ohio County Public Library Board Appointment

Motion Passed:  to appointment Julie Francis to the Ohio County Public Library Board Trustees, term to end 11/14/2025 passed with a motion by David Johnston.

XIV. Treasurer Computer Purchase
Actions Taken

Motion Passed:  approved for Treasurer, Anne Melton to personally purchase the obsolete mini-computer, monitor and keyboard servicing the treasurer's office in the amount of 705.99. Computer became obsolete when county Cyber Security Grant provided a new laptop to incoming treasurer, Candace Thomas passed with a motion by Bo Bennett and a second by Dale Beavin.

Dustin Bratcher reported for the Broadband Committee that Rosine businesses can now get Spectrum internet.

Discussion

Josh Wright was asked by the Judge to give a report on the Gospelfest.  He stated that even though it had to be moved to the Ohio County High School, it was a success and 500 people total, throughout the day had attended.  In 2026 they are planning for a 2 day event and by next year they will be a 501-C3 non profit.
