Second District Magistrate thanked all individuals and businesses who helped those in need of water over the weekend with the large water main break under the parkway. Those who worked to repair the fix, provided water for citizens and opened their doors to those in need. A State of Emergency was declared.

Wellness Center Water Funding
Motion Passed: Approved to fund $1000.00 for water reimbursement to the Ohio COunty Wellness Center for them opening their doors to those in need of showers while 2,000+ citizens were without water due to a Main waterline breaking under the parkway. Citizen's Comments
The Ohio County Skills Club were in attendance at the Fiscal Court Meeting. They have represented their school and County well in showing their skills at a State level.
Citizen Delmer Cook addressed the Fiscal Court concerning Cook Lane and the damaged that it has endured by a hauling company. Citizen requested that the Fiscal Court look at it to see what repairs can be made and if the company had any intention of fixing it.
Kyle Addington with the Ohio County Youth Archery Club came to the Fiscal Court to thank them for their donation to the newly founded archery team who has achieved several accomplishments nation wide. The teams is hoping to expand and welcome new youth.
Mr. Taylor spoke on the solar farm project stating that the citizens completed a analysis on the business impact in Ohio County and that if would not in fact bring in the previously stated $1,000,000.00 in tax revenue but closer to $100,000.00. Also that the benefit of this project is outweighed by the negative impact the project would make for citizens/home and landowners. Citizens of the impacted area wish to have the county vacate the MOU with SCOUT.
