This commitment will be reflected through ongoing facility upgrades, construction progress, and improvements to the physical and professional work environment.
In alignment with this goal, the Superintendent will also strengthen a collaborative, values-driven, and visionary, budget process. This includes:
• Conducting regular budget reviews to ensure transparency, fiscal responsibility, and alignment with district priorities.
• Strategically allocating resources to sustain effective and efficient operations across all departments.
• Ensuring that budget decisions support the creation and maintenance of safe, modern, and equitable learning spaces.
Together, these efforts will reinforce the district’s commitment to excellence in both educational environments and operational stewardship.
Goal 2: Instructional-The Superintendent will clearly articulate and uphold rigorous academic expectations by ensuring the implementation of a comprehensive and developmentally appropriate curriculum across all grade levels, including lower primary (K–3). • Maintain a unified curriculum framework that supports vertical and horizontal alignment across grade levels.
• Ensure equitable distribution of instructional resources to support effective teaching and learning.
• Prioritize Grades 7–12, with a particular focus on Breathitt High School, as new instructional resources are integrated.
• Conduct regular reviews of the implemented curriculum to verify fidelity, relevance, and effectiveness, especially in early foundational grades and newly resourced areas.
