5.1. Superintendent Boblett and Assistant Superintendent Spade will recognize the Technology Student Association winners, Chase Morris, Gage Cox, Kaleb Kirk, advisors Andrea Dixon and Maria Ousley.
5.2. Superintendent Boblett and Assistant Superintendent Spade will recognize Boyd County Middle School Academic Team Allie Jackson, Cam Malone, Sean White, Issac Calhoun, Ben Smith and Paxton Hilal. Coaches Andy Lyon, Bethany Crouch, Tom Stafford, Ken Osborne, Eliot Jacobs, and Erica Pierce.
5.3. Superintendent Boblett and Assistant Superintendent Spade will recognize the Academic Quick Recall team Allie Jackson, Cam Malone, Sean White, Isaac Calhoun, and Ben Smith along with Coaches Andy Lyon, Bethany Crouch, and Boyd County alumna Maggie Kinnel who served as the official for each level of the Governor's Cup competition.
5.4. Superintendent Boblett and Assistant Superintendent Spade will recognize Boyd County Middle School archery team Gryffen Terry 1st in state and 5th in nation. Easton Seasor 59th in state and Madi Eastham is ranked 81st. Along with coaches Bill Criss and Maria Ousley, Assistant Coach Bill and Melissa Kreger, and Shane Lawson. Each member of the team includes Abbriella Adkins, Brooke Davidson, Braxton Eastham, Madalyn Eastham, Jackson Hutsonpillar, Henley Jerrell, Mason Kreger, Wyatt Lawson, Zachary Lucas, Jerrod Masters, Jase McKinley, Hudson Moore, Madilyn Mullins, Sophia Patton, Braelynn Pendleton, Garen Price, Austin Rogers, Raelee Rogers, Easton Seasor, Ellery Sizemore, Eli Slone, Jake Stewart, Gryffen Terry, and Baylee Woolum.
5.5. Superintendent Boblett and Assistant Superintendent Spade will recognize Stacy Adkins, Stacy Brock, Laney Thompson, Sarah Slone along with teachers Shelby Chaney, Brianna Davis, for being selected for the "Be The Example" award.
6. Request to Address Board Chair - Per Board Policy 01.421 and KRS 160.270 (Public Comment) Please keep in mind the Board uses the public comment period as an opportunity to listen to citizen concerns and comments. 9.4. Pursuant to KRS 160.340 review Board Administrative Procedure Update (08.2323 AP.1) as presented by Kentucky School Boards Association (KSBA); The procedure is being changed to include a section outlining the expectations when using AI for both students and staff. (See Attachments)
9.5. Review Superintendents recommendation to add a section on Artificial Intelligence (AI) use to the district procedure.
9.6. Review Superintendent's recommendation to approve the Memorandum of Understanding between Jobs for America's Graduates (JAG) Program and Boyd County High School for the 2026-2027 school year; (See Attachment)

Review request from Dara'Su Williams, Special Education Director, to approve a shortened Schedule for Student #1, K student at Cannonsburg Elementary School, and Student #2, 6th Grade Student at BCMS and Student #3 at BCMS in accordance with appropriate documentation and per requirement of Kentucky Department of Education procedures; (See Attachments)
9.8. Review Superintendent recommendation to approve the non federal share, current year cost allocation plan and application and budget narrative for the FY 2026-27 Head Start refunding application presented by Stephanie Lyons; Director Boyd County Early Childhood Academy (see attachments)

10.8. Consider a fundraiser request for BCHS Alison Bays to sell pop, popcorn, variety of snacks. All money received will help with PBIS rewards to benefit students. (See attachments)
10.9. Consider a fundraiser request for BCHS Girls Soccer to sell refreshments, accept camp registration, business sponsors, and collect donations for the team, All money will benefit the soccer team.
10.10. Consider a fundraiser request for BCHS Boys Golf Booster Club to sell t shirts and reverse raffle tickets. All money will go to uniforms and entry fees for the Golf Team.
10.11. Review the recommendation of Kelly Fox Principal at Boyd County High School to approve a Building Utilization Request from Susan Kenser to use Boyd County High School Commons Area on May 9, 2026 from 11:00am-5:00pm for a baby shower; (See attachments)
