9. Action Items
9.1. Consider Superintendents recommendation to approve the closure of 2 KFB accounts that have been dormant for several years. A check will be issued to the district for the remaining amount in each account: Accounts are as followed; 1972 BLDG REV BOND INT FUND SCHOOL BLDG BOND OF 1978
9.2. Approve Superintendents recommendation to approve to award bids for CTE surplus items.(See attachments)
9.3. Review Superintendents recommendation to approve the revised salary schedule for the funding source GEAR-UP ELEVATE Success Coach. (See attachments)
9.4. Review request from Dara'Su Williams, Special Education Director, to approve a shortened school week for Student #1, 6th Grade student at Boyd County Middle School, in accordance with appropriate documentation and per requirement of Kentucky Department of Education procedures; (See Attachments)
9.5. Review superintendents recommendation to approve the license and services agreement from Subject Technologies, Inc. for BCC.
9.6. Review Superintendents recommendation to approve the Boyd County Public Schools Plan for Advanced Coursework and Accelerated Learning (Grades 4-12).It is required as part of the Advanced Coursework policy (08.1122) that was adopted on 8/26/2025.
10. Consent Items
10.1. Review the recommendation of Tom Holbrook Principal at Summit Elementary School to approve a building use request from Emily Williams to use the Gymnasium for a Birthday Party on January 25,2026 from 2:00 to 4:00; (see attachment)
10.2. Consider a fundraiser request for Summit Elementary 5th grade to sell tickets for an after school dance. Money raised will be used for 5th grade students.
10.3. Consider a fundraiser request from BCHS Girls Basketball to sell Boyd County shirts/hats/sweats. All money raised will benefit BCHS girls basketball team.
10.4. Consider a fundraiser request for BCHS Cheer to sell scraggle pop popcorn, and to hold a Tap That Sports Golf Tournament, and accept registration for a 5k with sponsors. All money received will go toward BCHS Cheer team.
10.5. Consider a fundraiser request for BCHS Spanish Club to sell Mexican Christmas Items. All money will support the Spanish Club. (see attachment)
10.6. Consider a Fundraiser Request from Ponderosa Elementary to sell Little Caesars Pizza kits, Roadhouse rolls/butter and gift cards to help support 5th grade and end of the year trip. Also Kona Ice and Tom's Coffee to help with playground fund.

10.12. Consider a fundraiser request for Catlettsburg Elementary to Host a fundraiser to sell gift cards and receive proceeds from 1 night of sales.
10.13. Consider a fundraiser request for BCTC to sell sheets. All money will help support Boyd County ESPORTS.
10.14. Consider a fundraiser request for Boyd County High School BETA Club to sell Texas Roadhouse Gift Cards.

12. Focus of Business/Topics for Next Meeting
12.1. November 13, 2025 Meeting at 6:00pm for SBDM Dialogue with Elementary Schools and Head Start, has been moved to January 15, 2026 at Cannonsburg Elementary School.
12.2. Next Board Meeting is Tuesday December 16, 2025 @ 5pm BCHS
