9.1. 9.4. Review Superintendents recommendation to add Tiffany Brooks, Finance Director as an AR (Authorized Representative) to access the financial documents in the platform for the RUS DLT Grant R & C. The new protocol for compliance for the RUS DLT Grant R & C 2021-2024 requires board approval.
9.5. Review recommendation of Cheryl Caldwell, Transportation Director, to approve the Tire bid proposal from S & S Tire, Huntington, West Virginia to supply tires and services as quoted for the 2025-2026 school year; (See Attachments)

Review Superintendents recommendation to support full compliance with SB 181 and to ensure secure, consistent communication with students enrolled in dual credit courses, please approve the following communication systems currently utilized by KCTCS: Blackboard (Anthology) Outlook (kctcs.edu domain) Starfish (EAB)
9.8. Approve request from Dara'Su Williams, Special Education Director, to adjust the Alternate Assessment Coordinator stipend from $1,800 to $2,520. (See Attachment)
9.9. Review Superintendents recommendation to move two stipends from the Administrative Salary Schedule to the Non-Admin Salary Schedule for better alignment of the schedules.  The two stipends are for National Board Certification and Speech Language Supplement and both fit better on the Non-Admin schedule. (See Attachment)
9.10. Approve request from Dr. Marci Prater, Director of Pupil Personnel, to reclassify Employee #4107 from a Program Assistant II.(190 days) to Administrative Assistant I (200 days). This will save the district an estimated $23,700 by combining the two positions. (See Attachments)

Review Superintendents recommendation to approve Boyd County Public Schools FY 25-26 email support agreement which allows Teachers access to Redbook questions for activity fund, district activity fund & external account/Boosters Club and Guidance to be performed by RJ Flannery, LLC. 9.12. Review Superintendent's recommendation for the district to join Omni Partners Cooperative at zero cost to the district.  It will allow the district access to more vendors and their discounted prices.
9.13. Review recommendation of Dara'Su Williams, Special Education Director, to approve Memorandum of Understanding between Ramey-Estep Homes, Inc./Regroup and Boyd County Schools for the purpose of providing needed school-based behavioral health services as needed/requested to students beginning July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026; (See Attachment)
9.14. Review request from Dara'Su Williams, Director of Special Education, to approve the Contract Agreement between Boyd County Public Schools and LaCrissa Keefer, Speech Language Pathologist, to provide speech therapy services to students for the 2025-2026 school year. (See Attachments)
9.15. Review request from Dara'Su Williams, Special Education Director, to approve a contract for Southern Kentucky Speech Therapy to provide Virtual Speech services to students for the 2025-2026 school year; (See Attachments)

Review recommendation of Dara'Su Williams, Special Education Director, to approve the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mountain Comprehensive Care Center to provide school - based behavioral health services as needed to students effective August 1, 2025 to July 1, 2026. Review Superintendent's recommendation to approve the Live Streaming Agreement between Boyd County Board of Education and Total Media Group, Inc. for exclusive rights of live-streaming and on-line audio streaming of school district sporting events and certain other events in consideration of Eight Hundred fifty Dollars ($850.00) monthly, in ten (10) monthly payments, payable to BCHS starting in August of each year;(See Attachments)

9.24. Review Superintendent's recommendation to raise the mileage rate for transportation for extra runs (field trips, etc.) from $0.56 to $1.32.  The actual current cost is about $2.32 per mile.  The difference will be covered from General Fund.
9.25. Review Superintendent's recommendation to accept the grant from Operation Unite for BCECA in the amount of $1500.
9.26. Review recommendation from Dr. Marci Prater, Director of Pupil Personnel, to allow the early Kindergarten entrance for one underage student, Student # 1,for the 25-26 School Year at the school of choice. student meets the criteria set forth in policy; (See Attachments)
9.27. Review recommendation from Bob Higginbotham, Director of Operations and Facilities to name Paul Christy as the Hearing Officer to conduct the local Hearing for the District Facilities Plan.
9.28. Review Superintendent’s recommendation to approve adding the addition of Google Workspace for Education Suite (for instructional communication purposes) to ParentSquare as our only districtwide single approved traceable platforms outside of Boyd County District email for all staff, coaches, and volunteers to align with the requirements of the new Senate Bill 181.
