GSA- Elena Anchondo & Jana Kachakeche

Mr. Jared Criswell with Wayne County Education Association recognized Mrs. Katina Shearer as the March member and presented her with a $100.00 check.

Mr. Dishman recognized Elena Anchondo for being accepted into the Governor's Scholars for the Arts Program. She was chosen to be 1 of around 40 students in the program across the State. 

Mr. Dishman shared important upcoming event dates: 

May 4- Board Work Session 6:00

May 14- Academic Hall of Fame and Senior Honors Night 6:00

May 17- Baccalaureate 6:00

May 22- Graduation 6:00

June 2- Special Meeting- Superintendent Onboarding Capstone Project 5:00

Mr. Dishman also shared that Phase 1 on the Walker Early Learning Center project is moving very timely. He also shared that on April 28 at 2:00 they will be taking bids on the Softball Project.

Mrs. Alecia Parker, Principal of Walker Early Learning Center presented an instruction update. She shared goals and the great progress and growth that the students have made so far this school year.
