The meeting was called to order by Chairperson, Benton Sloan. Also present was Board Counsel, John Blevins, KSBA Consultant, Tim Eaton, and the Wayne County Schools' Superintendent Screening Committee

Order #101 - Motion Passed: Approval of Facility Request for the Wayne County High School Gym for Donkey Basketball Fundraiser for Wayne County High School Girls' Soccer Team on April 17, 2025 passed with a motion by Mr. Jarrod Criswell and a second by Mr. Tony Roberts.

Superintendent Search Process (First Joint Meeting of the Wayne County Board of Education and Screening Committee)
Mr. Tim Eaton, KSBA Consultant, introduced himself and asked the screening committee to each introduce themselves and their representation for the committee to the board. Mr. Eaton read the roles and responsibilities of the screening committee and discussed in detail the screening committee process. A copy may be found in the Minute Abstract Files # 102.

Adjournment of the Wayne County Board of Education (Screening Committee will Remain for an Executive session per KRS 61.810 (1) (f)
