Motion to come of executive session and take any necessary action
Motion Passed: Motion to come out of executive session with the superintendent's evaluation. Mrs. Razor has stated the following: The Board of Education of the Bath County School District has completed the annual evaluation of Superintendent Steve Evans for the 2023-2024 school year. Four of the board members have served the full year with Mrs. Razor coming on the board in September, and have been able to observe and be a part of the successes achieved this year.
The evaluation focused on seven standards of performance as well as goals set by the Superintendent.
Superintendent Evans received a rating of Development in the areas of Strategic Instruction, Human Resources, and Collaborative. In the areas of Cultural, Managerial, and Influential, he was rated Improvement Required.
The board will be working with Superintendent Evans to develop goals for our district for the 2024-2025 school year. We look forward to working together to make our school district successful.
