1) Add to Presentations - Special Recognition of BCHS Students & Teacher by Tom Brillhart

2) Add Executive Session as authorized by KRS 61.810(1)(b) to discuss the future acquisition of real property by a public agency, but only when publicity would be likely to affect the value of a specific piece of property to be acquired for public use.

3) Add after Executive Session - Action Item as a Result of Discussion in Executive Session (if needed)

1. Studio Kremer Architects - 2022 Building ProjectsTom Brillhart

Chief Operations Officer Tom Brillhart recommends approval for the following Studio Kremer Architect, Inc. contracts:

  • Bullitt East High School - Fine Arts Addition and Renovation (Including "old" OMES)
  • Bernheim Middle School - Renovation
  • Bullitt Central High School - Outdoor Athletics and Field House, Renovation
  • North Bullitt High School - Outdoor Athletics and Field House, Renovation
  • Bullitt East High School - Outdoor Athletics and Field House

Once the district has the preliminary scope completed related to remaining needed life saving systems upgrades and VCT flooring repairs at HMS and MES, board approval will be requested for that separate contract as well.

2. Education Recovery Leader MOA for Kevin ConnorsJesse Bacon

Bullitt Lick Middle School Principal Kevin Connors has been offered an Education Recovery Leader position with the Kentucky Department of Education for the 2022-23 school year. This Memorandum of Agreement releases him from his BCPS contract for the upcoming school year in order for him to participate starting July 1, 2022.

b. Summer Student Worker RequestsAlthea Hurt

Principals from the schools listed below request to hire Summer Student Workers for light clerical work and/or to assist the day custodian with cleaning and moving furniture during the shortened summer hours. The schools' SBDMs have approved each request. The district currently has an approved Student Clerical Worker job description, which is compliant with Kentucky Child Labor Laws. Funding will be SBDM funds.

  • Bullitt Central High School - Clerical (2) (Paid out of Section 6 funds)
  • Mt. Washington Middle School - Clerical (1) (Paid with Fund 22 & SBDM funds)
  • Zoneton Middle School - Clerical (1)
5. GENERAL DISCUSSION
