  • FTIS is Highest Ranked K-12 District for KSA

  • Homecoming Parade back after decades-long absence

  • MES had a successful Santa House 

  • Woodfill's Blue Ribbon School Celebration is 11/18/2022

Mr. Darnell nominated the FCCLA program to receive the Tradition of Excellence Award.


The award was presented to FCS teacher and FCCLA sponsor Mrs. Ahren Wagner, and FCCLA student representatives Kathleen Price and Addy Wagner, in recognition of FCCLA providing and encouraging outstanding service and leadership opportunities to the students of Fort Thomas Independent Schools.

KDE’s Office of Educational Technology annually presents Stillwell Awards for those who have gone above and beyond the call of duty in Educational Technology. For the 2020-2022 years, Stillwell Awards are being presented to the 2,400 educators across the Commonwealth who played pivotal roles supporting educational technology during the pandemic, 14 of those individuals were key parts of FTIS’s support during those two years

Woodfill Elementary 5th-grade students presented on the 100 Years project. Students presenting were:

Students shared their projects on the history of Woodfill Elementary, one using Minecraft to show the school cafeteria, and another creating a video about Samuel Woodfill.
