  • Robin Kemp, HHS Science, is a semifinalist for KY High School Teacher of the Year

Keith Faust shared the ACT report which shows a composite score of 23.1, which is well above the state average of 18.3.  


This class of 2023 student group will all retake the ACT on October 5.

III.B. AP Report

Keith Faust shared that our 2022 AP Report shows that 64% of our high school students (all grades) have passed one (1) AP class.


Further, 72% of all exams taken resulted in a passing score of 3 or above.

III.C. School-Based Decision Making (SBDM) Council Update

Keith Faust reported that all SBDM legal requirements have been met.


He noted that each school's SBDM council information, including elected members, meeting dates, agendas and minutes are available on each school's SBDM  webpage.

III.D. Title IX Report

Wes Caldwell reported that we did not pass either of the two requirements. Since we did not meet either requirement, we must submit a plan to address increasing and retaining female opportunity and participation in sports.  

III.E. Board Committee Updates

Board members shared that the following committee meetings were held since the last board meeting:



  • Audit Committee (Brad Fennell) - met with auditors prior to audit.

  • Title IX Committee (Julie Kuhnhein) - reviewed report.

  • Breakfast Committee (Ann Meyer) - shared that the committee will provide breakfast treats on late arrival dates throughout the school year.

  • Budget Committee (Ann Meyer) - met to review/discuss the working budget.
