Citizen Charlotte Whittaker presented the Critchelow family with a plaque in memory of their son, Brad Critchelow, who served and worked diligently with Repair Affair to help those in need to repair their homes.

• Compensating Rates-Bess Ralph

Motion Passed:  Motion made to approve the County's Compensating Tax Rates as presented by the Ohio County Clerk's Office, the Ohio County Sheriff's Department, the Ohio County Public Library, the Ohio County Extension District Board, Ohio County Conservation District and Caney Creek Watershed passed with a motion by Larry Keown and a second by David Johnston.

• Resolution for Project B568

Motion Passed:  Motion made for the Court to approve Resolution #5-2014 Line-Item Project B568 City of Rockport passed with a motion by Brandon Thomas and a second by Jason Bullock.

There has been an interest in starting a Boys and Girls Club in Ohio County. Steve Winkler of the Cliff Hagan Boys and Girls Club in Owensboro made a presentation to the Court. He spoke to the Court about the groups of children ages 6-18 that the club served, what things the club offered to the children such as tutoring, snacks, health/fitness programs, yearly budget for running the club, etc. Mr. Winkler talked of the interest that citizens of Ohio County have conveyed to him and that he was willing to help the Court with any questions or concerns about the club.

Motion Passed:  Motion made by the Court to pay the Ohio County Airport Board the sum of not less $12,000 in monthly installments of $1,000 as it is in the budget passed with a motion by David Johnston and a second by Larry Keown.

Motion Passed:  Motion made for the Court to fill water board vacancy with Cleatus Greer effective September 24, 2013 passed with a motion by David Johnston and a second by Kenny Autry.

Motion Passed:  Motion made for the Court to take in a County road-Horse Branch Park Drive 150 ft. x 40 ft. pending easement passed with a motion by Kenny Autry and a second by Larry Keown.

Magistrate Kenny Autry said that the Industrial Panel had a meeting September 19, 2013 on economic development in Ohio County. There were (8) people present at the meeting: Anne Melton, Renetta Romero, Kenny Autry, Scott Lewis, Burl Morris, Kim Logsdon, Mike Nall, Charlotte Hendricks. Those on the panel but not present were Paul Sandefur, Joanna Shake and Vince Tanner. Mr. Aurty said that the panel is working on recommendations to the Court.

Citizens and Attorney Kathryn Callahan addressed the Court with concerns over the wolf hybrid dogs in Fordsville.
